Why Joy?

​

The idea for JOY was born from over 20 years of experience in the beauty market, both in Brazil and internationally.

​

Throughout our lives, we realized that many things, especially our jobs, caused a lot of stress and fatigue, and, little by little, the joy faded.

So, with a strong enough inspiration to get started, my wife, Fernanda Carvalho, and I started.

​

Our company name is an anagram of the initials of our children, João Henrique (in memoriam) and Yasmin, who brought us and continue to bring us the joy we need to bring to business—a lighthearted approach where everyone involved benefits from the relationship.
Much more than buying and selling, Joy connects the world with Brazil.
